The Modified Butterfly Roof sets this house apart from other types of architecture. The simple geometric shapes makes it abundantly clear that this bird house is a product of Palm Springs architecture.
My birdhouses are made of solid pine timber with no knots or a minimum of knots and painted with four coats of exterior house paint or clear coat polyurethane. All joints are either nailed (air nail gun), screwed, doweled or biscuit joined with exterior grade waterproof glue .
For easy cleaning, it has a removable panel to access the interior.
Materials: Solid pine, water based exterior latex paint, nails, glue
Dimensions: L: 16” x H: 11” D: 9”
Colors: Black, Natural Pine and Chartreuse
